Manny's numbers are outstanding and, as Manny says, "They do the talking for me". 165 RBIs in 1999; 9 seasons driving in 100 or more runs; .417 lifetime OBP; and
Manny has topped 30 homers and 100 RBI each of the last 6 seasons...in all of baseball, only 4 other players can make that claim: Sammy Sosa (last 9 years), Rafael Palmeiro (last 8), Carlos Delgado (last 6) and Alex Rodriguez (last 6).
Manny is a 7-time All-Star (1995, 1998-99, 2001-2004) and has been voted an All-Star starter each of the last 4 seasons since coming to Boston. And although he may not be a "gold glove" outfielder, his numbers show that he holds his own on the field. But don't take our word. Look at the numbers below and determine yourself. Also, read the MLB summaries on all of Manny's seasons.
